Bnet Reviews - The DJ Grid Project, Vol. 1

The DJ Grid Project, Vol. 1

As I smoke my honey fusion cigarillo; I find myself faced with a decision. I dont want to turn off Lord Sear; but why not listen to this new album The Dj Grid Project Vol.1 with varies artist; I just downloaded from Amazon. Pain is the 1st joint. Its hiphop reggae rap, its a very familiar sound that I welcome with open ears! Boss Chick is the 2nd joint. Boss Chick surprised me, because I thought whole album would be like the 1st song. Boss Chick is a strip club banger. Exotic dancers will have a fields day with this track. Chance is the 3rd track. Its a soft, mellow track the ladies will love. It puts me in mind of vacation! Outlaw is the 4th joint. Its an uptempo track that gets straight to business. The young rebels admire this kind of music. Million $ Check is the 5th joint. Wyclef Jean on this track making it an instant banger; overseas + America. The production by Wyclef stands out so much that its showing you that his name has to be mentioned in the greatest producer conversation. Naked is the 6th track. Naked is aimed to turn her on lyrically. The sound is different, and yet its still pop. I could satisfy a women to this tune! Real Life is #7. Real Life is that good old fashion hiphop concept. Real Life is informative with decent lyrics to a funky beat. If it aint broke dont try to fix it! Paradise is #8. I think Paradise is similar to Chance with concepts.  My opinion about Paradise is that its for good times with the ladies. The producer did good things with the steel drum. Holding Back is track 9. Its about being in love, and still yet you can party to it. Sounds great for a wedding reception or something similar. Overall, The Dj Grid Project Vol.1 sounds great, and its a blessing to any persons playlist. The Dj Grid Project Vol.1 is an album for many different occasions; meaning everyone can enjoy it.

Bonnette / Bnet / Bonnette Da Bandit Bio

Bonnette / Bnet / Bonnette Da Bandit Bio

Brian Bonnette is Bonnette / Bnet / Bonnette Da Bandit a rapper from Orangeburg South Carolina. He fits into the genre of hip hop not hip pop. No auto tune on his voice makes a 90s / 2000 style rapper. He always says "if I need a singer I go get a singer or sing it myself this is rap not motown". The mood of his music varies, he has dark raps, fun raps, street raps, political raps, and black pride raps; by far he is not a one trick pony. He started writing raps at age of 15; hoping to escape poverty probably like many other rappers. Bnet did live in Georgia 01-02 but that didnt workout for him, so he moved back to Orangeburg. Now he is running up and down the Cannon Bridge Road and music is on hold. The year 2006 came and Bnet met Flames, Dot, and Cal (The Hustle Boys). They showed him the setup he needed to record himself to cd. "Maybe a year later my cousin Al comes over to my house picks me up and takes me to his Dads brother house; here I met Mooky and J.A.B. as young teenagers, I did know them as little boys though. Not long after meeting them I brought my own pc and starting kicking out raps that Im stilling pushing to the public in Raw form." You can listen to those raps here > 4Lyfe, Vol. 1 (feat. Meatball)4Lyfe, Vol 1.(Remastered)4 Lyfe, Vol. 1: Raw 4 Lyfe. Mooky and Jab are brothers. Mook is the elder. They are the primary beat men for Bonnette Da Bandit. From 1996 to 2001; Bnet was known as B-Raw and he recorded with his friend Rhyme C-ick. B-Raw and Rhyme C-ick recorded to tape using 2 radios. 1 of the radios had a built in mic, and the 2nd radio played the beat. "We did upgrade to a keyboard for original beats, and a performance mic which we hung from the light fixture in my room while recording. I moved to GA with my brother and Rhyme C-ick had another year in high school is what stop our movement." Some people have told Bnet he can really rap, and he sounded like Ludacris in the past. The producer (Blvck Vmish) of the rap Its Bout Dat Time says he reminded him of Bun B. He also has a work ethic that is seen by his family and friends that keeps him in studio (that he put together), teaching himself how to engineer and promote his brand and product. Bonnette says "I got stuck/ constructing/ behind the PC/ now I think I got it right/ its time to tear thru the streets." Bnet has no material accolades from making music yet. Bonnette has multiple albums released online > 4Lyfe LLC, Punch Da ClockBnet also has beats for lease here > BNP Productions. Bonnette Da Bandit wants to be a mystery to picture painters, but an open book to his listeners; meaning what you see; is not what you get. I truly think he is a different kind of rapper that cant be mirrored by any other! Bonnette can be followed and befriended on these social media sites > Befriend Bonnette / Bnet / Bonnette Da Bandit

Bnet bio

Bonnette aka Bnet aka Bonnette Da Bandit is from Orangeburg SC. With tireless wordplay and full stanzas. Bnet lays down lyrics which put him in a lane of his own. No autotune on his voice gives his style a late 90s vibe. He touches different topics with off the wall lyrics + the weird sounds in the beats are unique. If you like a radical demeanor Bonnette is for you! Here is a link to my music https://goo.gl/VoAjM1

my thoughts

internet promotion sucks! knowing rappers are independent, meaning no money to waste. theyre services dont help a rapper; should i blueprint a better system, it would be a waste of time; cause it wouldnt be trusted at 1st, and it shouldnt be. i dont trust any of these muthafunkas.

A.T.F. Plans to Send More Agents to Chicago to Curb Violence

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives plans to send more agents to Chicago to help curb a surge in violence that claimed more than 750 lives there last year, a spokesman for the bureau’s Chicago field division said on Friday night. The spokesman, David D. Coulson, said that sending additional personnel to the city, where there were more than 3,500 shootings in 2016, has been “in the works for some time to figure out how to leverage our resources.” CNN reported that the bureau would send 20 additional agents. Mr. Coulson said he was unsure where that figure originated and that “everything is fluid.” A final decision on the number of additional agents will most likely be made in the next week, he said. The field division, which covers Illinois and parts of Indiana, has more than 100 agents. About 35 are assigned to Chicago, Mr. Coulson said. The news comes as Chicago, the nation’s third largest city, has been reeling from an increase in gun violence, a sharply critical Department of Justice report and a series of remarks and postings on Twitter about the city from President Trump. In a tweet on Jan. 24, Mr. Trump threatened to “send in the Feds!” if the city did not fix the “carnage.”        i simply copy and paste this shit
CNN reported that the agents would be assigned to a “Chicago Crime Guns Strike Force.” Mr. Coulson described that as “probably a good depiction.” He said that agents already assigned to the city work on firearms trafficking cases, cracking down on gangs and those who are prohibited from possessing guns. Adam Collins, a spokesman for Mayor Rahm Emanuel, said on Friday night that city officials had not been told about the plans for additional federal agents but that the mayor would be glad for their help. “We have received no word from the federal government to confirm these reports, but it would be welcome news if the administration has indeed agreed to one of Mayor Emanuel’s requests for federal resources,” Mr. Collins said. “We remain hopeful that they will also provide added D.E.A. and F.B.I. agents, that they will boost the prosecution rate for federal gun crimes in Chicago, and that they will provide funding for successful violence prevention efforts.” More than 750 people were murdered in Chicago in 2016, the police said, a 58 percent increase over 2015, and the highest total since 1997.

Things2Apply

Treat it like a Business

There are some different ways to view this depending on the size of the artist, but for now we will just focus on the smaller independent artist who is just getting started. As revolting as it may seem to your artistic side, try to view your music as a start-up company and your fans as potential investors. What makes someone invest their money in a start up company? The direct reflection you as the owner are showing them through your product, time, and personal assets you invest. Why would anyone want to put their hard-earned money or time into your business if you aren’t willing to do the same? If you have nothing at stake personally, then it shows a lack of commitment and conviction to your cause. You need to be at risk and it needs to be apparent to your potential investors (fans) so they can get behind you. That doesn’t mean you absolutely have to put 100 percent of your money and time into the business, but people need to feel that you are committed and in it for the long haul.
So, what’s the right percentage? Is there a right one? It’s different for every artist but in the beginning you should be leaning very high toward the investment side if not 100 percent. Chances are you are going to be in the negative like any new business for a while, putting 100 percent of the income you make right back into it plus extra if you can afford it. Luckily, there are certain things you can do in the beginning to try and offset this. For example, there are merchandise companies that will let you pay off merchandise orders at a later date, giving you time to sell and make the money directly from the product first. You may have to start out by paying upfront, but once you build a relationship with the company, that trust can be applied.
The same goes for fans buying into your brand. Would you wear your T-shirt? If not, why would they? Take pride in everything you put out, from your music to the smallest details. You might think people don’t notice the time investment but trust me, they do. Investing the time is HUGE and a lot of young artists don’t want to wait. “Hey, let’s play this brand new song live we wrote yesterday” is probably not the best idea on the business end. When was the last time you heard the owner of a new company say to a potential investor, “Hey, I came up with this awesome business idea last night. Can I have your money for it?” Understanding that every time you are performing your art in front of people is a business opportunity to gain new investors in your brand can give you the patience and understanding to fine-tune your brand.
Once you understand the commitment required to make your art go from passionate hobby to self-sustaining career you will know how important investing in your music as a business is. When you start applying it, you will never go back.

Bonnette Bio

Brian Bonnette is Bonnette Da Bandit, a rapper from Orangeburg SC. I started writing lyrics when I was 15 hoping to escape poverty. I always was a decent writer as a kid, I wrote short stories and won an award in 3rd grade for writing an essay. Growing up with less than others made me want. So I choose this rap profession; influenced by those at top of the game with videos, shows, shiny things and hoes. I started recording with my friend Corey and two radios. One radio had a mic built in to it and the other radio played the beat. At first the beats were instrumentals for like 6months, then Corey parents got him a keyboard for his birthday it was like fate. We recorded damn near everyday, I even recorded sick. After high school I moved to GA but Corey had another year to do. I was hoping he would move there with me and my brother when he got out of school but he didnt. I worked for like 2years in GA then got fired and came back home nothing never jumped off for me in GA with the music, I did try but not hard enough. Back home liven with my mama; the house is crowded; fiances are ugly, I got no time for music. I focused on other things. Years past. I messed around and got with a woman while being in a crazy liven situation. I had a bad car accident and lost my means of transportation (a honda accord my brother gave me to go home with). Keep in mind no job yet since being home. I eventually went back to GA. My lady was supportive of me going back but she hated it. This time Im not successful at getting work on Memorial Dr.( thats what I said) I had an interview at Office Depot but that lady called my bluff about previous work experience. Then I lost my ID so Krystals couldnt give me work. I came home again; this time I stayed. Not much focus on music just working and hustling. I did meet some cool MCs recording music down the road from me. I was still writing lyrics, so my cousin took me over to his cousin house where I saw what a pc could do. I meet Cool Edit and Fruit Loops, now Im back rapping again. I went and put my own studio together and learned some shit. More years past, and Im still learning shit. I realize I need money to fund me, so I hustling whatever is in demand. Not doing what I should have been doing; like going to a pro studio with my money, I fucked around and got shot, so lifestyle changes had to happen. Now Im a starving artist spending my last on my dreams. Im not a special lyricist or a fast rapper I just listen to a beat and write whatever comes to mind. I feel its one of those gifts from the Creator Of All Liven Things. Here is a link to my music https://goo.gl/giM8NT
